The 7th Circle is now a set of traffic lights rather than a roundabout, and its official name is Prince Talal bin Mohammad Square, yet residents still use the old name. It lies in Zahran, where Zahran Street meets Abdullah Ghosheh Street to the north and Airport Road to the south, the route to Queen Alia International Airport. Locals also apply the name to nearby neighbourhoods such as Al Sahl and Al Rawabi.
The area has a strongly commercial feel, with offices, shops and restaurants. Swefiyeh next door is often described as its residential twin, Um Uthaina begins on the opposite side towards the 6th Circle, and King Abdullah II Street (Medical City Street) links it with Wadi Al Seer and the 8th Circle.
Everyday landmarks include the West Amman drivers and vehicle licensing department, the Jordan Electric Power Company, the Royal Racing Club, Galleria Mall and Cozmo supermarket. Families have several private schools close by, among them the Amman Ahliyyah School, British schools and the Modern American Schools.
Homes range from apartments to spacious villas, alongside office space. The sources describe prices as relatively high because of the location and the standard of construction.
