About this calculator

The buying costs calculator lists the one-off costs of a purchase and adds the down payment, to give the cash you need on the day. Each cost is a percent of the price, a percent of the amount financed, or a fixed amount. Costs based on the amount financed apply only when part of the price is financed, and any cost set to 0 is named under the table as not included.

Questions

Are exemptions or reductions applied?
No. The calculator applies the rates in the table to the price you enter. If an exemption or reduction applies to your purchase, the real fee is lower. Check the current rates before you buy.
Does the cash figure include the loan payments?
No. It is the down payment plus the one-off costs. For the monthly payment, use the mortgage calculator.
Where do the rates come from?
Hagzi sets them for Jordan. When a source is recorded, it is shown under the table with the date the rates were last reviewed. Rates can change.
